For their latest food and wine campaign Selfridges London, are celebrating the summer Aussie-style. From brunching to cooking up a feast on the barbie, they set out to created an exciting range of vibrant Australian flavours from the best artisan makers.

I was lucky enough to be able to partner with Selfridges and Taste Distribution to assist with sourcing brands for this innovative and exciting summer scheme.  The brief was simple – find the most exclusive and innovative Australian brands.  But the execution and delivery was complicated, coordinating the consolidation and shipping of a variety of non EU food products from 6 different producers half way around the world.  I partnered with Taste Distribution and local logistics firms to provide a streamlined logistics solution for Selfridges.

 

BYRON BAY COOKIES

As Australia’s original café Cookie, Byron Bay Cookies have been a staple in Australian cafés for over 25 years, and are famous for the glass cookie jars found on thousands of café and gourmet deli counters across the country.

 

DOODLES CREEK

The name Doodles Creek was inspired by the permanent pristine spring-fed creek that ran runs through the family farm in Kangaloon in the Southern Highlands south of Sydney.

Ogilvie and Co. are an Australian family-owned manufacturer and wholesaler of gourmet food products.  Considered by many as pioneers of handmade Australian fine foods we have a long-standing reputation for quality and service, producing a range of unique products in distinctive packaging.

 

STICKY BALSAMIC CO

Award winning Sticky Balsamic range of delicious sauces are so versatile and can be used from entrees such as bruschetta and seafood to main dishes including chicken, duck and pork as well as being an excellent dessert addition! Apple and Pear are excellent to use as a salad dressing and with meats. The Original Sticky Balsamic is a rich and thick balsamic taste sensation and the new White is perfect with meat, salads, fruit and desserts.
